Jenn received a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering with a minor in Visual Arts from Union College in Schenectady, NY in 2004. While pursuing her professional career in engineering, she has continued to develop her skills and follow her interest in visual arts, most recently through digital photography, drawing, painting and fiber art.
Jenn was diagnosed with Stage III triple negative breast cancer in 2017 at the age of 34. In Jan 2018 it was determined she was in remission. The breast cancer returned as Stage IV in August 2018, having metastasized to her brain and liver. Which, as of November 2019, (the latest webpage update here) she has continued breast cancer treatment through an exceptional medical team at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Jenn turned to art therapy to help get through her treatments. She has made every effort to take this unfortunate event and turn at least some of it into a positive where she could further hone in her artistic skills and have fun. She pours her heart (quite literally with the fluid painting!) into the art and photography and enjoys it immensely.
